The Crusaders are made up of two husband and wife teams. Michael and Mary Ann West manage the group. Michael sings lead and harmony and also writes some of the group's songs. Mary Ann sings lead and harmony. Sherry Gupton sings harmony and lead also. Allen Gupton sings bass and lead. Allen also is a ordained minister in the Church of God, as we all attend The Erwin Church of God. Allen and Sherry have a 7 year old daughter named April who sings a song or two on each program.

Mike is the manager of the group. He and his wife Mary Ann started singing in church 32 years ago around the piano and The Crusaders has been singing ever since. He loves what he does for the Lord. Don't ask him about driving. He is also the booking agent for Ministry Music Group and writer for some of our songs. He loves the Lord and is a blessing to watch him praying with others in the alter.







Mary Ann has been in there since the beginning. She will tell you, "I don't know how God can be so good to you when He's been so good to her." Mary Ann and Mike have been married for 32 yrs. They have two girls, Ashley and Mica. Ashley is married to Chris Gurkin and Mica is attending Barton college. She loves working with the youth and will bless you when she sings. She is also a "5 YEAR" cancer survivor and it's all because of Jesus. 










Sherry has been in the Church of God all of her life. She started singing at church in choirs, groups, and solos. She started singing with the Crusaders in 1995. She is married to Allen, and they have two children, Matthew and April. She will bless you with her singing and loves to work for the Lord. She is also a Physical Therapist Asst. and loves to help people in need. Sherry is very active in cancer awareness and support.








Allen is an Ordained minister in the Church of God. He started with the group in 1994 playing drums and now sings bass. He loves to preach the Word. He is an evangelist in the Church of God. He will bless you with his singing and if he is near you preaching a revival or special service, go hear him and be blessed. Allen married Sherry in July of 1987. They have a son, Matthew, who is eighteen and April who is seven.







April is the daughter of Allen and Sherry. She is 10 years old and has been singing since she was 3. The first time on stage was at the Annual Benson Sing. She loves her brother Matthew. She keeps us all busy and will bless you with her singing.
